EXCEPTIONAL ART, MUSIC, WINE, AND FOOD PLANNED FOR RISING SUN FESTIVAL OF FINE ARTS & CRAFTS

More than 40 talented artists from around the region and the nation will be in Rising Sun, IN for the 3rd annual Rising Sun Festival of Fine Arts & Crafts.

This magnificent festival includes exceptional fine art, crafts, jewelry, pottery, photography, fiber arts, glass and so much more all available for purchase! You can find  many one-of-a kind items along with things to suit your personal style.   The festival event will be held on Saturday, September 17th and Sunday, September 18th  between the hours of 10:00am to 5:00pm. This fun festival will be held on Rising Sun’s historic Main Street District along the Ohio River.  There is NO admission fee and parking will be free on the street and in lots throughout the city!

To compliment the extraordinary art, the festival will feature wines from local vintners and a beer garden that will feature products from a locally owned and operated brewer.  Make sure you stop to try some of the delicious food from several different local establishments and savor the moment! Enjoy local musicians singing from the stage and the street corners.

An area just for kids will feature activities for budding artists as well as entertainment from cincinnaticircus.com.

Rising Sun is one of Indiana’s most picturesque riverfront towns. In 2008 Art Calendar magazine includes it as one of the ten best towns in America for working Artists and Rising Sun  is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Festival visitors are invited to experience the unique ambiance and hospitality of Rising Sun, while enjoying the art and strolling through the towns’ Main Street and scenic riverfront park.
