Beautiful weather and skilled artists have been our companions this first day of the art festival. More than three dozen artists from seven states have set up shop along our historic Main Street in downtown Rising Sun. With one day down and one day to go, now is the time to come on down to the festival!

On Sunday we will be having handcrafted wine and beer tastings from local bottlers and brewers, live music, Kids Zone with artful activities to keep your youngsters entertained, plenty of food, and, of course, some of the finest artists the region has to offer. Come take home one of Paul Van Duyn’s unique bird feeders, or check out Matt Cole’s jewelry made from recycled bowling balls. Our artists are displaying every from paintings to woodworking, sculpture to pottery, and jewelry to photography. Come watch the artists demonstrate their crafts live, and don’t miss this opportunity to take home a piece that you can’t find anywhere else.
